A note from the Trexo Robotics Team: “Trexo Robotics was born out of a deeply personal experience. While studying engineering, our CEO Manmeet Maggu, learned of his nephew’s diagnosis with cerebral palsy. Searching for technologies to help his nephew stay healthy and active, he realized there were many limitations. Frustrated by this experience, he decided to change this, and Trexo was born.”
Robotic gait training for children is just the beginning. At Trexo, we’re on a mission to create technologies that help people of all ages and ability levels so that collectively, we can all build healthier and happier communities.
PediaFlex has proudly partnered with Trexo Robotics to give our kiddos a chance to explore their environment.
Trexo is based in Canada but has pop-up locations all over Canada and the USA. We are right outside Hartford, Connecticut in Wethersfield.
We believe the Trexo provides an avenue for children to have independence within their environment. We are so excited to share all of the benefits with our kiddos.
Directly from their website: Trexo has been used by kids who need maximum support, and kids who just need a nudge to work on their endurance and gait. Trexo's adjustability makes it a versatile tool to help most children with a disability experience independent walking. Children with the following conditions may be able to use the Trexo:
Cerebral Palsy
Traumatic Brain Injury
Spinal Cord Injury
Hemi & Paraplegia
Muscular Dystrophy
Neuromuscular Conditions
Stroke
Rett Syndrome
Other conditions which impair lower body mobility
