Insurance FAQ

Does PediaFlex participate in my insurance network?

PediaFlex is an an "Out-of-Network" physical therapy practice.

How do I determine if I have “Out-of-Network” coverage with my health insurance plan?

We can help. There are several detailed questions that we like to ask the member services department when we call. It is important that we understand and determine your individual health plan’s out-of-network PT benefits.  You can call and share with us your plan’s information and we will call on your behalf; or you can call. To learn more about your coverage, please call the member services number on the back of your health insurance card.  It is very important that we know if prior authorization is required for out-of-network PT services. Click here to find a guide to help you when you call your insurance company: Out of network guide. Please remember, our office can assist you in this process.

Will PediaFlex help me with any prior authorization requirements?

We definitely help with authorization requirements and will communicate with your health plan to establish authorization for services on an ongoing basis as necessary. This is a big part of our commitment to being out-of-network.

Does PediaFlex bill the insurance company for the services?

We do not bill insurance companies directly. However, we will provide you with a medical receipt with all of the necessary coding and billing information for you to submit to your health insurance plan to their claims department. This medical receipt is referred to as a “Superbill”.

How do I make payment for my services?

Payment will be due at the time of service.  We accept payment of cash, check, HSA/FSA cards, or major credit cards.
