“Just a quick update…I took our son to the neurologist last week. He had a great exam and bottom line was the doctor felt he was developmentally delayed, but because of the good progress, there would be no reason to be concerned about an underlying problem. The doctor ended the exam with something to the effect that he is doing well. As I told you, I am delighted that he is doing so well right now! He is going to be seen for follow-up in 6 months, but if he keeps going in the direction he is right now, I think that everything will be just fine. Thank you again so much for your kind support and willingness to squeeze our son into your already full schedule! We appreciate all you did. I want to tell you that twice now in the morning on our way to day-care, (the latest being this morning), he said “Mamma go see Matt”. You are the only “Matt” we know, so I am sure he is asking to see you! That is quite a testimony of your connection with kids. Enjoy the Beautiful day!”
